Dundee and the World focuses on the City's international collections highlighting Dundee's long involvement in overseas trade.

The exhibits are grouped around four central themes - Military, Missionary, Merchant and Mystery - indicating how they came to be here.

Exhibits include rare Inuit artefacts, important Egyptian archaeology, dramatic masks from around the world, Buddhist art, intricate carved items from many cultures and European oil paintings.

The displays are housed in the stunning Albert Hall, with its magnificent wooden ceiling and spectacular stained glass.
